IKUS STUDIO INTERNATIONAL VIOLIN COMPETITION

  • The recording of first round can be made with a phone, camera or any other equipment available to you.
  • The description/title of your video must include your name, the name of the composer and the name of the piece you are performing.
  • Your hands, face and the whole silhouette must be clearly visible. – We accept only unedited videos.
  • Submit links to public platforms like YouTube or Vimeo. Please do not send files for us to download.
  • Please make sure your video is not marked as “private” so we can have free access.
  • The recording must be no older than one year prior to the deadline for submission of applications.
  • The International Violin Competition consists music recording video which will take place via video submission, and jury will make selection of laureats and prize winners through sended recordings.
  • Finalists will get different prizes and only maximum of 5 participants will be able to recieve the main prize for proffesional audio-video recording with orchestra. All interested applicants must first upload their videos at lastest date of 1th of April 2025, and the results will be anounced by the organising committee at the lastest date of 10th May 2025. The application procedure must be done online. Candidates will not be admitted to the Competition unless payment is received. In case of withdrawal, subscription money will not be reimbursed. Final concert will be held in MyRoom Acoustic studio on 23th of may and 5 laureats of comptetition will make recording with orchestra that will be organised in Niš, Serbia – My Room acoustic on 24th and 25th May 2025. The jury’s decision is binding. All decisions and votes of the jury will be published on the website after the announcement of the results.
  • Laureate winners are getting all rights to use their profesional recording and broadcast of their first proffesional recording as well as competition who will keep rights of recordings and be able to use them in commercial use of competition. For recording performances, the participants have no right to advance claims or financial requests to the material recorded in competition organisation.
